The Scary Pumpkins!

Isn't this just too classic?





So I have attempted to take Aiden to 2 different pumpkin patches. The first one last Monday, he cried pretty much the entire time we were there. Every time I sat him down to take a picture he cried, it was actually pretty funny. I decided to take him to a different place yesterday called Grandpa Kevin's Pumpkin Patch, I had to go since Aiden's granpa's name just so happens to be Kevin! Well he cried again.....the poor boy is just afraid of pumpkins I guess. We bought a pumpkin and I want to carve it tonight, maybe he'll change his mind when he discovers how much fun it will be to play with the pumpkin guts!

and Aiden finally crawls!

Last night Aiden, Al, and me were playing with this ball and it got away from us, Aiden suddenly rolled over and started crawling out of the blue. He was so happy he was laughing while he was crawling, it was super cute. Too bad I didn't get a picture of him crawling, but I did get a picture of him with the ball after. He is going to be our future David Beckam! He is really into holding it with his feet.

We took Aiden to the San Franciso Zoo last Sunday, he was more interested in looking at the people, not the animals...

Aiden's first day of school!

Yes I know Aiden is only 9 months old and he is already in school. You probably think im crazy, but trust me im not. We go once a week on Mondays, yes I said WE, (im in preschool too) I go with him and we PLAY, have snacks, read stories, and listen to music. It is sooo much fun. By some small miracle I found this school. I was searching for preschools back in April beacuse there is typically a 2 to 3 year wait list around here so I had to get busy. It just so happened that when I was in my search, Preschool Family was having their enrollment. It wasn't like I just got to go sign him up, I had to get up and 4am and go wait in line outside for 4 hours in the cold rainy weather to try to get him in. There were parents who slept in sleeping bags all night long. Luckily I was like #45 and was able to enroll him!!!!!! We are in now until Aiden goes to kindergarden.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!

SO I guess were not too exciting. I haven't even left the house today, except for my run this morning but that doesn't count. Al went to the gym, I couldn't go because the kids club was closed......Aiden has taken the longest nap ever today, I put him down at 10:30am and he is still sleeping at 2:15pm that is unheard of around here. Im still working on his sleeping. Can you believe that! He turned 9 months yesterday and still has bad sleeping habits. But he is so stinking cute, I LOVE HIM! So this is just way to funny, I put him in his crib to go to sleep and I had the camera in the room and I just couldn't resist......

Aiden has finally decide it is time to hold his own bottle! It is great for me because I have discovered that if I give him a bottle and put him in his crib he will just go right to sleep!

We will miss Max

What a sad week, we had to put Max our family member with 4 legs to sleep on Monday. It was one of the worst things I have had to decide to do. At least I know that he is okay, at least I hope so.

Trying something new

Okay so im going out on a limb here, im going to try to download a video of Aiden from YouTube. Now this wasn't easy, it has taken me lots and lots of video's. All of the video's I took of Aiden were too big. It didn't make sense to me because they were no more than a minute and a half long, but the MB was over. I finally came to the conclusion that it must be some type of setting on the camera. I did a little bit of adjusting. I was finally able to download a picture. The true test is will I be able to post it here.........lets see.

Im trying to pre occupy my mind

It is Aiden's nap time and he is not sleeping today. He fell asleep in the car on the way home from Sonal's house. I gave him a bottle and put him in his crib and he will not give up! So I have to turn a fan on outside of his bed room so I don't hear him cry, but then I sit here and watch the monitor lights blink all the way to the top as he is yells. What torture for both of us. I don't know where the saying comes from "sleep like a baby" then we would all be in trouble! The good news is that he is sleeping better at night. He wakes up a few times, but then he goes back to sleep on his own and he has been sleeping in till 8 and 8:30 the past two days. It was great for me because I got up at 5:45 this morning and went on my run got home a bit past 7:00, showered and ate breakfast all before he woke up. It felt strange having the morning to myself. Me and Aiden usually get up at 6:00am and have our breakfast then go on the run together. We'll see how long this lasts.

Well I think that poor little guy finally fell asleep. Im glad, I hate to hear him cry, it makes me feel like a bad mom. But they say you have to get them in a good sleeping habit early or then you will regret it.

My dinner date!

Last Friday we had dinner with an auntie of Al's and some of their friends. Aiden was a big hit as always. He was my date! And I of course have to show him off....Can you blame me?

So I decided that Aiden is now old enough to go to the park. I couldn't believe that we spent over 2 hours there! We swang and layed out a big blanket and played in the grass. We have no grass at home so he thought it was pretty neat.
